Test Observations
To test the rectifiers, use the regulators testing module Positive heat sink test: • Connect the black cable to the positive heat sink and touch the tip of the orange cable to each of the phases (U, V, W). The “PILOT” lamp should come on when touching the orange cable to each phase. • Reverse the connections, securing the orange cable to the positive heat sink and touch the tip of the black cable to each of the phases (U, V, W). Now the “PILOT” lamp should not light up when touching the black cable to each phase. Negative heat sink test: • Connect the orange cable to the negative heat sink and touch the tip of the black cable to each of the phases (U, V, W). The “PILOT” lamp should come on when touching the black cable to each phase. • Reverse the connections, securing the black cable to the negative heat sink and touch the tip of the orange cable to each of the phases (U, V, W). Now the “PILOT” lamp should not light up when touching the orange cable to each phase.
