Test Observations
In this coil, each pin “C” (coil) of the connector controls a high voltage output of the coil, therefore, the test must be performed corresponding each pin “C” with its respective high voltage output, according to the numbers indicated in the image. To perform the test, follow the procedure below:• Connect one of the PU02 set cables between the “R/INT” output and the “B+” pin on the coil and the other cable between the “NEG” output and the “C” pin that controls the coil output 1• Connect the high voltage cable from the equipment to the high voltage output 1 of the coil• Activate the Modules/Coils test section and observe the spark gap. There must be a spark on an electrode, indicating the correct operation of this coil output• Disable the Modules/Coils test section and switch the “NEG” cable from one “C” pin to the other, which controls the next output. Also switch the high voltage cable to the corresponding output and repeat the test. Again, during each test, there should be a spark on the electrode
